// Local support acknowledged at presenation event

Our post-rally presentation event was held this week in the Arts Centre at Aberystwyth University on Monday 21st October, when we acknowledged the help and support of local community groups, marshals and supporters.

We were delighted to hand over cheques to representatives of the Aberystwyth Show, Ponterwyd School, Ponterwyd Chapel, PTA Ysgol Penrhyn-Coch, PTA Ysgol Penllwyn and Ystumtuen Chapel & Cemetery Community Group. In addition, we presented a difibrillator to Bont Goch community group, for the amazing support the village - which was located in the middle of stages 1 and 4 - extended to the rally.

The evening also saw us announce the winner of our marshals prize, Laura Sugden, who wins a trip to next year’s SOL Rally Barbados. Laura was presented with a marshal’s tabard from the event and said how surprised she was to win and how much she’s looking forward to her Caribbean adventure.

Members of the organising committee concluded the event by announcing the provisional date for next year’s Get Connected Rali Bae Ceredigion will be Sunday 13th September 2020.

They then went on to express their sincere thanks to all of this year’s marshals, residents, local businesses, corporate partners, organisations and sponsors.
